The Numerology of Biden-Harris

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President elect Kamala Harris are readying to step into their new roles on January 20, 2021.

If we look at them as a team, their Numerology is a great window into how they might work together and what they both bring to the table.

I’m basing my exploration on the full birth name and dates of birth provided on Wikipedia.

This is a very brief and select overview.

Joseph Robinette Biden
November 20, 1942

Life Path:        11/2 or 20/2, depending on method of calculation
Expression:    8
Soul Urge:       5
Birthday:         2

He experienced an 8 Personal Year in 2020 and is heading into a 9 Personal Year in 2021.

He is in a 9 Pinnacle.

There are many other facets to a full numerology profile, yet these are more than enough for an overview of possible relationship dynamics.

As we see Joe Biden having the Master 11/2 Life Path, optimally this is the calling of the highest level of diplomacy and leadership. The 11 is the number of Spiritual Illumination and those who carry this Life Path are often called into higher levels of leadership where there’s a requirement for mediation, peace-making, and diplomacy based on the needs of the group as a whole.

This is less about one side winning and one side losing. The driver here is to facilitate consensus for the greater good.

Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton, and Henry Kissinger are just a few examples of 11/2 Life Path’s who have ended up involved in higher levels of politics.

Biden’s Expression number is an 8. This number indicates how he’ll go about doing his Life Path purpose and the 8 is the number of power and influence. This is an “all business” vibe and those with an 8 in their numerology profile are often gifted managers, organizers, and power-players.

The Soul Urge offers a glimpse into what drives someone on a soul level. It’s the heart’s desire and is where they feel connected and devoted on a deep level.

At the heart of things, his 5 Soul Urge reveals that Biden is a seeker of change based in freedom. There is an adventurous spirit underneath it all!

This is a little bit of a “wild card” in his profile in my opinion, given that the 11/2 is the inspired healer and the 8 is the power number.

The 5 Soul Urge offers a sense of movement and experimentation that can buddy-up to Harris’s 5 Life Path in order to pursue some outside-of-the-box ideas.

The Birthday number is often a point of identification for a person and is an integral part of the full-spectrum of their purpose and points to innate gifts and talents. Biden’s 2 Birthday number reveals that he cares deeply about others and has an intuitive link to understanding other points of view.

The 2 is the number of the diplomat. It’s also very centered on emotional connectivity and is naturally intuitive.

Biden’s experiencing an 8 Personal Year in 2020 and will head into a 9 Personal Year in 2021.

This has been a year demanding that he manifest his visions in reality. It’s been a power year demand every ounce of integrity and empowerment. The 8 Personal Year is a testing year. It’s a year to step up.

2021 is a year of closing out a 9-year cycle.

Joe Biden is in a 9 Pinnacle Cycle. This number indicates an underlying theme, energy, calling, and opportunity for a person during a given time. For Biden, this is an ongoing period of time where a goal or endeavor larger than oneself is the focus. It’s often directed by giving selflessly for the good of all. There is sacrifice that is woven into this period of time, yet the gratification of serving with compassion is amplified.

Kamala Devi Harris
October 20, 1964

Life Path:     5
Expression: 8
Soul Urge:   9
Birthday:     2

She experienced a 7 Personal Year in 2020.

Harris steps into an 8 Personal Year in 2021.

She is experiencing a 3 Pinnacle Cycle.

Whenever I look at relationship dynamics, I’m always looking for points of connection and points of disconnection, as well as where the numbers reveal both tension and flow.

Interestingly, Kamala Harris has a 5 Life Path.

Remember, Biden’s Soul Urge is also a 5. I call the 5 Life Path “The Sensuous Freedom Seeker.” So from a Numerological perspective, they have a point of understanding here.

Optimally, the 5 is all about creating freedom with a strong dose of self-discipline and focus.

The 5 is all about the experience and is a catalyst for change.

The 5 is vivacious, versatile, and is always moving forward.

This can be a dynamic combination with Biden’s Master 11/2 Life Path. She brings some buoyant energy to the mix and can potentially offer Biden alternative routes, concepts, and ideas that he might otherwise overlook.

Abraham Lincoln,Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Franklin D. Roosevelt are just a few examples of 5 Life Path’s who have ended up involved in higher levels of politics.

Harris’s Expression number is also an 8. She and Biden are on the same page in the way they express themselves and again, the 8 is the number of power and influence. While this points to the fact that they “speak the same language,” this can also offer a few points of tension given that the 8 is often set on getting its own way!

Yet ultimately, the highest octave of the 8 is about using power and authority wisely and well.

While Biden’s Soul Urge connects with Harris’s Life Path (5), her Soul Urge 9 merges into Biden’s humanitarian Pinnacle number 9. Her soul’s calling is one that is driven by a deep desire to give back and be a positive force for good in the world.

The 9 is the calling of the humanitarian.

This is all about selfless service and universal wisdom. Those with a 9 in their numerology profile are being called to give to the greater good and it’s often a powerful driving force in their lives. This points to giving to others based on a cause or purpose.

Yet they also “get” each other because Biden’s Soul Urge is also a 5, Harris’s Life Path. He and Harris  innately understand that they are here to be change-makers.

Combined with her highly-charged 5 Life Path, Harris has a reservoir of charisma and creativity to add to the mix.

Both Harris and Biden share a 2 Birthday, so once again, they very much connect and share common values. At the core, they are both devoted to creating win-win outcomes as much as humanly possible. They both have an emotional connection to the world.

This can also point to the way in which they started out as adversaries and have ended up coming together as friends and colleagues based on a common goal, despite their differences.

Harris is experiencing a 7 Personal Year in 2020 and will head into an 8 Personal Year in 2021.

The 7 Personal Year supports deep inner reflection and spiritual growth. It’s a time of planning, organizing, and gaining skills and knowledge that will be key to the success for the next cycle she is readying to enter in 2021.

2021 is a power year for Harris and the beginning of the three-year shift and transformation.

Kamala Harris is in a 3 Pinnacle Cycle. Biden is in a 9 Pinnacle.

Both of these Pinnacle Cycles support high levels of creativity. The primary difference is that the 3 is all about communication, expression, and pulls you into the spotlight in some manner. This is a social and dynamic Pinnacle that’s asking Harris to inspire and to motivate and uplift others with her words, with her emotional connectivity.

The 3 Pinnacle is a time that demands optimism, creative problem-solving, and bringing humor and lightness into the mix.

Both the Master 11/2 Life Path and the 5 Life Path are visionaries, just in different ways.

The 11/2 is all about diplomacy, leadership, and service from the heart. The 5 is all about progressive action, fearlessness, and pushing boundaries.

Certainly their authentic goal (whether you personally agree with it or not) comes from a real desire for unity and for “oneness for all.”

Together, they contain high-octane fuel for success (8) while placing the good of everyone globally in the driver’s seat (9). The manner in which they will most likely pursue this is with as much patience as one might be able to muster and with the over-arching desire for consistency and diplomacy (2).
